It is through the arts, science, and the goodness of humankind that I wish to educate and enlighten. I am determined to do my part in making this world a better place to live in for us and future generations. Many of the subjects touched on here may be considered political or religious. I want to assure you I'm a scientist first. I'm not trying to change anyone's spiritual beliefs and when it comes to political issues, all of my writings are based on factual truths. I will admit to giving my biased opinion on subjects if I see fit. It is your job to look at the truths and make your own judgments. Don't rely on what you see in the news or on some website. This is what the Art of Perception is all about > being able to look at something the way it really is, without bias and then look at it closely from every point-of-view. Our awareness of others perceptions is important because it shapes our lives. Applications can reach into the areas of science, spirituality, politics, relationships, and the arts.
Our current political and economic system has not evolved much since the release of Adam Smith's "Wealth of Nations" in 1776. Our system most certainly has not evolved to keep up to date with globalization, the banking system, and technology. Some areas of the world are developing faster than others making it easy for some developed countries to take advantage and exploit resources in less developed countries. The quest for more money, more money, more money is hurting the development and advancement of the human race.
Imagine if we could eliminate fear from everybody's lives. The fear of starvation, the fear of how to pay for health care bills, the fear of war, the fear of terrorist attacks, the fear you may get fired from your job -- ALL fear. We could then turn our attention to more important things like personal growth as well as the growth and evolution of the human race.

Awareness of ones self, environment, influences, desires, and motivations as well as the those of the people, businesses, and governments that affect you is imperative. Without this awareness it is impossible to make informed choices when it comes to life decisions such as purchasing goods, voting, raising children, etc... We live in a corporate world where the corporations hold the power over the major economic decisions our governments make.
Collectively we can shift the balance of power from the majority of wealthy businessmen and politicians to the average working class citizen. We're the ones paying the taxes, purchasing the goods, making the rich richer - - we should have control over the decisions that affect our lives. Let's make a difference!
